Hi all - yes, I'm still alive...I haven't been doing much writing lately because all I can think about at the moment is the fact that we are expecting a little Timelord come Christmas Eve!!!! :) 

We had our first ultrasound today, and the little olive (We were told the baby's about the size of an olive right now) was WRIGGLING like crazy!!! Amazing! :) We heard the heartbeat - nice and strong - and I was on the moon. So I wanted to share with my old LJ pals and let you know that the original work is probably going to have to take a backseat to baby for a while, but since nothing calms my mind like writing, I would guess that I'll be hitting the Who!Muse one of these days soon so I can finish Into the Howling and get some more writing done....

Howdy. Up late last night after spending the day playing Elmer Fudd stalking the muse with no success, she finally popped out of her Bugs Bunny hole in the ground, came up behind me and hit me over the head with a mallet around midnight. So, as a true devotee, I stayed up as late as I could and got a start on a new story. It's not going to be posted until after Into the Howling, which I hope to finish this week or so *knock wood*

It's going to be COMPLETELY different in tone from ITH - romantic and silly, with no mouths sewn shut, no purge fires, no Doctors blowing people's heads off with lasers and then turning philosophical...inspired by the marvelous kelkat9. I've even got a graphic done for it that I think is pretty funny. For now it's going to take the place of "Unforgettable" on my "Current Stories" list, as the muse kind of skipped town on me on that one and I have put that on hiatus for now. For those that liked that story, don't worry. It'll finish up. I can't stand leaving a story hanging for very long. :) 

Anyway, that's just an update of sorts. My chorus has a show tonight in a town about an hour from where I live, so it's vocal rest, drink my organic throat tea and get ready to wow the people of Freeport!! Woo hoo!!

Because I'm a complete creep - thanks everybody for the lovely V-Gifts on V-Day!!! :) Y'all are a bunch of awesome.

Also, a special shout-out to fannishliss - I got your lovely, lovely valentine in the mail and it's fabulous!!!! It's on my fridge now! :) Thanks for sending it, and I hope your little giftie should be coming soon as well. :)
